Shade sails are designed for shade and not total waether protection. They are most commonly made from HDPE mesh fabric to create shade. Most water will bead and run off depending on the slope of the sails.
QUESTION: CAN THE SAILS REMAIN UP YEAR-ROUND?
No. Shade sails are not designed for any snow load and must be removed for the winter.

Depending on the color, blockage will range between 88%- 95%.
